One of the biggest dangers we face is becoming complacent in our success.
It’s easy, once we’ve set a goal and achieved it, to fall into the trap of maintaining. It’s easy to justify slacking off because, after all, we put in all the work to get to where we are. It’s easy to think we deserve it and begin to take it for granted.
But yesterday’s success won’t last forever, will it?
Sure, you need to celebrate it and appreciate it but don’t ever think that just because you made it that you’re done (because, if you do… well, then you are).
Tomorrow’s success is waiting…
…waiting for those who will pursue it.
